Assoc. Prof. Evren Dilektaşlı

Assoc. Dr. Evren Dilektaşlı started her education in Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Primary School. After completing her middle and high school education in TED Ankara College in Ankara, she entered Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. In 2003, he graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. After completing his specialist training in Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic he became General Surgery Specialist in 2010.
In 2010-2011, he worked in Konya as a General Surgery Specialist and Chief Physician. At the end of 2011, he was appointed as General Surgery Specialist and Chief Physician to Bursa Iznik State Hospital. Evren Dilektaşlı, who left his duty in 2012, was appointed to Bursa Şevket Yılmaz Training and Research Hospital in the same year. Shortly after his appointment in 2013, he was appointed to the same clinic as the Chief resident (Education).
In 2014 he was invited as a research scientist to LAC + USC University, one of the trauma and emergency surgery centers in Los Angeles, USA. He has been involved in scientific activities for about 1 year. In the meantime, he worked at USC Keck Medical School's Upper Gastrointestinal System Surgery and Obesity Surgery (Bariatric Surgery) Clinic. During this period, he received the Excellence in Research Award at the ACS 2015 Congress with a scientific work. In 2015 he was accepted as a member by the American Society of Surgeons and was a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

After returning to Turkey in particular he has continued to work on obesity surgery and trauma and surgery. In 2017 the American Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeons was accepted as a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). Turkey in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery (BMCD) also carries out the supervisory duties in the association management. In 2017, he received the title of Associate Professor. Dr. Evren Dilektaşlı worked at Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital and worked for the training of many new specialist physicians. After August 2018, he started to work in Bursa Private Life Hospital as General Surgery Specialist and Director of Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Center.
