Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu was born in Elazığ in 1959. After completing primary school education and the first year of Secondary School in Elazığ, he took his secondary school 2. Classroom education in London Haverstock Sochold a due the father of Prof. Dr. Kerim Sunguroglu necessary duty in London. After returning to Turkey, he graduated from Elazığ mezre secondary school and Elazığ high school. He won Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in university entrance exams.
After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1986, he served as a physician at Ankara Solfasol mother and Child Health Center Number 10. Sunguroglu started his specialty training in medicine by winning the exam opened by the Department of Biochemistry of Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1987. In 1990, he completed his specialized education in the Department of Biochemistry at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and became a specialist in Biochemistry and Clinical Biochemistry.
Dr Sunguroglu who went to the army to perform his military service in 1991 After completing two months of reserve officer training at Samsun Sahara Medical School, he was appointed to the Department of Biochemistry of the Gulhane Military Medical Academy with the rank of specialist medical Ensign. He conducted numerous research and publications at the Gulhane Military Medical Academy until September 1992, when he was demobilized. At the end of 1992, he was appointed as an assistant professor in the Department of Biochemistry of the Faculty of Medicine of Ankara University. Sunguroğlu received the title of associate professor in 1993. In 1999, he was appointed Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Ankara University. Between 2000-2012, he was elected unanimously by all faculty members for 4 semesters without interruption and served as the head of the department. He served actively on many boards and commissions of the university, primarily on the Ethics Board and the Board of Directors of dormitories. From 2012 to 2016, he served as Rector Coordinator of Ankara University and retired from Ankara University.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroglu has numerous scientific research articles, book chapters, and numerous papers presented to national and international congresses on the purification and kinetic properties of enzymes from various tissues, trace elements, vitamins and cancer.
In 1994, he and his faculty members bought shares of Çağ Medical Center Joint Stock Company. Within a year, Dr. Sunguroglu established Çağ Laboratories Group, which is the largest private laboratory in Turkey, increasing the number of patients and examinations of Çağ Medical Center by 13 times.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroglu has been a member of the Health Board of FISU (International University Sports Federation) since 2000 ( with 5 terms of election).
FISU has been appointing Dr. Sunguroğlu as an international health inspector for intercollegiate sports events in many countries of the world for 17 years.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroglu has been in the training group of the children's Athletics project of the Turkish Athletics Federation since 2000 and has been giving lectures on “substance abuse “ at many universities in Turkey. In addition, he was assigned by the credit dormitories institution to give lectures on substance abuse, stress coping and lack of empathy in 30 student dormitories and successfully completed this task in 2015 – 2016.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu currently serves as the Vice President of the Turkish Cancer Research and Warfare Institute and has been serving this institution for 30 years.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu is a member of the Board of Directors of Anadolu Kidney Foundation.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu is the president of Çağ Health Education Association, which provides scholarships to many students, and tobacco-free Healthy Living Association, which struggles with smoking habits. Dr. Sunguroglu is currently the president of the Social Education Academy of the Federation of civil servants associations, the president of the AHID Academy of the Ankara Association, and the president of the Academy of the Association of administrative bureaucrats.
From 2000 to 2002, he was the chairman of the Turkish Biochemical Society and has organized numerous national and international congresses, symposiums and scientific meetings since that date. He was the chairman of the organizing committee of the smoking or health symposium held at Ankara University on May 9, 2017.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu serves as the Vice President of Elazığ culture and Promotion Foundation and also works on the Board of Directors of Elazığ Culture Association High Advisory Board.
Prof. Dr. Kadirhan Sunguroğlu participated in numerous radio and television programs and made presentations on various topics. Currently, Bereket TV deals with various health-related topics in the program fertility of Health, which it prepares and presents every week
