In the coronary intensive care unit, patients who have had a heart attack, who have a heart disease that may cause a heart attack, who have arrhythmia problems that require intervention, as well as patients who are treated for other existing diseases and who need to be closely monitored during these treatments are also hospitalized.
Every patients’ vital signs are being monitored carefully during their stay in the coronary intensive care unit.
In our coronary intensive care unit, which is equipped with the most up-to-date devices of medical technology and designed for high-level patient comfort, the measurements of vital signs such as ECG, blood pressure, blood oxygen level, pulse, respiration, and body temperature of each patient are made regularly.
Diseases treated in the coronary intensive care unit
Patients receive healthcare in this unit for severe, acute, and unstable cardiac conditions that require day and night monitoring and specific cardiovascular therapy. The most common of these is an acute heart attack or another form of the acute coronary syndrome.
People with these conditions are prone to rapid, unexpected changes in their condition and typically require ongoing treatment such as targeted temperature management (which induces mild hypothermia).

People who are in the recovery process after coronary bypass surgery
Decompensated heart failure is present and the patient’s condition is unstable
People with severe heart failure (even if they are stabilized)
Those awaiting a heart transplant
Patients with acute coronary syndromes and unstable angina or life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias
