Anesthesia and reanimation Department of Emsey Hospital serves patients by physicians, who are specialized in relevant field, and cooperates with all other departments of our hospital in order to provide patients with the safest heaşthcare service. Our operating rooms are equipped with cutting edge technology at international standards and have modern anesthesia equipment which allows any and all operations.  Our anesthesiologist staff provide anesthesia services for operations carried out by departments of General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Neonatal and Pediatric Surgery, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Neurosurgery and moreover, they handle the monitoring and treatments of ICU patients with maximum safety and a multidisciplinary approach. In our hospital; our anesthesiologists evaluate all patients, who are decided to undergo operation, to determine their eligibility for the operation. After patients are evaluated and tested, risk assessment is made along with the necessary consultations. Patients are informed about appropriate anesthetic method and consent is officially obtained from the patient. Excluding operations carried out under regional anesthesia and caesarean section, patients are premedicated (pre-anesthesia) before they are transferred to the operating theater. This procedure minimizes the preoperative stress and maximizes the comfort. Similarly, patients are postoperatively transferred to recovery room, where they are observed and monitored, and they are referred to inpatient ward or intensive care unit, while accompanied by a nurse, depending on the decision of the anesthesiologist.
