The Center for Prenatal Pediatrics at the Hospital is dedicated to helping pregnant women and their families when a significant birth defect or genetic disorder – including congenital heart defects, genetic syndromes, fetal chest anomalies, and other birth defects – has been detected in their unborn baby. Fetal anomalies are diagnosed and, in some cases treated, in the fetal ultrasound unit using state-of-the-art ultrasonography and fetal echocardiograms.
