Glaucoma: It is the loss of the transparent structure of the intraocular lens that allows us to see in our eyes and cause decreased vision. It is usually a disease of older age, but can also be seen in young people. The only treatment method is to remove the intraocular lens and replace it with an artificial lens. Which artificial lens will be placed just away represents a type or may be of a type that indicates both far and near. The operation is performed without the patient being sedated with local anesthesia and does not require hospitalization. The eye is closed for a day; the patient can resume normal life after 3-4 days.
