Catheterization Laboratory
In addition to diagnostic and preventive cardiology services, coronary artery disease is diagnosed and treated for long time at our hospital. This unit carries out 5000 angiographic and invasive procedures per year. 
Our physicians offer therapeutic and diagnostic options, including but not limited to balloon angioplasty, stent implantation, laser angioplasty atherectomy and rotablator therapy, at our laboratory for treatment of coronary artery diseases.
Ankara Güven Hospital offers diagnostic and therapeutic services for heart valve diseases, pulmonary artery diseases and congenital heart diseases. Cardiac catheterization is performed with high success rates for long time, and the unit is also performing other modalities, such as balloon valvuplasty for disorders of mitral valve and other valves.
The Cardiology Department of the Ankara Güven Hospital is leading the way for closely monitoring novel medical procedures and technologies in diagnosis and treatment of rhythm disorders. Pacemakers and cardioverter defibrillators (ICD) have been implanted by our physicians for long time. Underlying mechanism of cardiac arrhythmias is investigated using electrophysiological studies and they are eliminated with a safe method, known as "ablation".
